As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain backend software systems and infrastructure for the data collection pipelines in the Data Enrichment domain. You will build services that extract and ingest data from various sources and expose that data to other services and customers through APIs. You will own significant features end to end, contribute to system design and architecture decisions, and help raise the quality of the team's work through solid engineering practices and constructive code review.
What You'll Do
Development and Technical Contribution
Design and develop robust, scalable backend components using Java and the Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring Web, etc.).
Contribute to the redesign and modernization of a legacy Python-based system.
Contribute to API design, system architecture, and performance tuning for the team's services.
Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, and continuously improve code quality, maintainability, and system performance.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance, availability, and throughput of the team's services, including automating recovery from failure states.
